European Campus: Enhancing overseas student mobility
   

Aims:

The ‘European Campus’ project aims to provide prospective and current exchange students all the necessary information and tools for:

  • Choosing the destination that fits their interests and personal development
  • Applying properly and in due time for scholarships and for any other possible financial support
  • Being integrated in the society and the culture of the hosting city, also in terms of linguistic tools and social opportunities
  • Evaluating their exchange experience and having their evaluation considered and appreciated by the competent institutions, in order to foster and influence the evolution of the exchange programs and policies
  • Helping, in turn, other students to succeed in their exchange study and overcome the same difficulties and challenges they experienced

Objectives:

The main goal of this project is to develop a Mobility Information Platform that provides students from all over the world the necessary information to access all opportunities of personal growth offered by a study experience in the European Higher Education Area.

Main Activities:

  • Engage universities in the EHEA to use standardized online information to obtain a more coherent presentation within and beyond the EHEA
  • Development of a platform that gathers formal information (from e.g. European Higher Education Institutions) and non-formal information (from e.g. European Student Organizations) in a fast and automated way
  • Collection and dissemination of experiences (stories, photos, movies) from mobile students in the EHEA
